Guide for Parents & Readers
About the Book
Willoughby’s Way and the Seeds of Spring is a cozy, middle-grade science fiction adventure story about a sweet (and slightly befuddled) alien camper stranded on a small farm. As he works to complete a series of nature-based challenges, he forms unexpected friendships with a group of barn animals and slowly discovers what it means to belong.
Written for ages 8–13, the story blends gentle humor, emotional growth, and light science fiction with themes of ecology, cooperation, and finding one’s place in the world.
All stories are created through lived experience, real life on a hobby farm, and imagination, not automation. Every sentence is shaped by a personal process of observation and curiosity, and guided by human thought, craft, and care. No generative AI is used in the creation of my stories or prose.
