Willoughby’s Way and the Seeds of Spring is moving steadily toward publication. The manuscript is currently with my copy editor, and next it will head to my layout and graphic designer, Asya Blue, who will begin shaping the interior pages for print.

Meanwhile, my illustrator is hard at work bringing together the book’s illustrations and cover art. Seeing all of those visual pieces come together is making the project feel more real by the week.

I’ve also started planning the official book launch party, which will be held on Saturday, November 28 at LaValley Home and Garden in Howards Grove. There is still plenty to do between now and then, but it feels wonderful to finally have a date on the calendar.
